the journey of your kindled piece begins with a moment of inspiration from a form of african culture, tradition or artistry. in the studio, this inspiration then meets wet clay and the skilled hands of our throwers and artists, who bring it to life. our ceramics are then fired thrice in our kiln, transforming our inspiration into your finished piece.

we understand the intricacies and unique value of handcrafted items, and this is why we opt to limit the quantity of each of our designs and release our creations in limited runs.
